Bolivia and Chile 2003
... Probably the most mysterious part is the southwest Altiplano, having been situated in Bolivia, sometimes named "a landscape of Salvador Dali". There are frosts over 30 centigrade at night, never calming storms during the day, full of salty dust there, and you have no chance to escape from it. All in all there are very difficult conditions for surviving and even worse conditions for making pictures.
